Ubisoft has given us more information on the upcoming Splinter Cell game. The game will be called Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Double Agent. The game takes a new twist as Sam Fisher must infiltrate a deadly terrorist organization and be a double agent for the NSA. He must walk a fine line by acting as a terrorist without helping the terrorist causes or blowing his cover.
“Ubisoft is excited to have re-imagined the Splinter Cell franchise by introducing Sam Fisher as a double agent, expanding the depth of his character,” Tony Kee, Vice President of Marketing at Ubisoft, commented. “Gamers are going to find themselves immersed in entirely new territory that will allow Ubisoft to expand on its already captivating Splinter Cell franchise.”
The game will release in the Spring of 2006 for the PlayStation 2, GameCube, PC, Xbox, and Xbox 360.
