When a Katamari comes along, you’ve got to tap that. Bandai Namco has announced a new entry for the Katamari Damacy series, and it’s going mobile again. Tap My Katamari is going to come to Android and iOS devices “soon.” When exactly? Who knows! But the first trailer is in English, so at least it’s a worldwide release.

This time, the King of All Cosmos got a little carried away when singing in the shower. His Superior Song ended up knocking out all the stars. Once again, the Prince has to use the Katamari to roll up junk and make new ones. Tap My Katamari is a 2D side-scroller, so we’ll have to see how that works out for him.
Personally, I’m amazed that Bandai Namco was able to come up with an even more suggestive Katamari Damacy title than Touch My Katamari . Well done!
