It was developed and published by Square Enix as a collaboration with Disney.

If you’re new to the Kingdom Hearts franchise, Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 ReMIX is the perfect way to start your adventure!

Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 Remix Premise

Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 ReMIX combines 6 iconic games in one convenient location. The Kingdom Hearts franchise is a series of action role-playing games that combine elements of Final Fantasy and Disney. The overall theme of the series is how Light can overcome Darkness with the power of Friendship. The story follows multiple characters but the focus is often on Sora as he explores different Disney-inspired worlds. These worlds include the likes of Halloween Town from The Nightmare Before Christmas, the castle from Beauty and the Beast, Port Royal from Pirates of the Caribbean, and many more. Sora must stop the Heartless invasion with help from both new and old friends if he wants to bring peace to all of the realms.

The Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 Remix collection contains the following:

  • KINGDOM HEARTS FINAL MIX
  • KINGDOM HEARTS Re:Chain of Memories
  • KINGDOM HEARTS 358/2 Days (HD Remastered cinematics)
  • KINGDOM HEARTS II FINAL MIX
  • KINGDOM HEARTS Birth by Sleep Final MIX
  • KINGDOM HEARTS Re:coded (HD Remastered cinematics)

Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 Remix Main Character

While Sora is the face of the franchise and the most notable, he is not the primary protagonist in all of the games. In Birth by Sleep, the three playable characters are Terra, Aqua, and Ventus, a trio of Keyblade apprentices. Sora makes short appearances in the title but he is only four years old, not yet on his adventure.

In Kingdom Hearts, we have our well-known and beloved Sora as the main protagonist. A Keyblade wielder from the Destiny Islands, Sora embarks on a journey for his childhood friends with new companions, Donald and Goofy, who are on a search for King Mickey.

And in Chain of Memories, we once again follow Sora. This game takes place immediately after Kingdom Hearts and is one year before Kingdom Hearts II. Sora and his friends must explore the mysterious Castle Oblivion while battling Organization XIII. In the second story mode, players will control Riku who now sets on his own journey with King Mickey.

In 358/2 Days, the prequel to Kingdom Hearts II, we have Roxas as our main character, a member of Organization XIII. This game takes place concurrently with the events of Kingdom Hearts and Chain of Memories. Being Sora’s Nobody, Roxas is able to wield the Keyblade. He bears the title the “Key of Destiny”.

For Kingdom Hearts II we go back to following the life of Sora. Once again he is accompanied by Donald and Goofy. Riku and Kairi are both briefly playable at different points of the story.

If you thought for Kingdom Hearts Re:coded we were once again returning to Sora, you are half right. In the sixth installment of the franchise, the player now controls Data-Sora. Data-Sora is an artificially intelligent virtual avatar of Sora that was created from Jiminy Cricket’s journal entries. Virtually recreated versions of Riku, Naminé, and Roxas also appear. This time instead of villains who want to take over the universe, the player is fighting software bugs that are corrupting data.

Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 Remix Cheat Codes

Unfortunately for players, Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 Remix does not have any in-game cheat codes. Many modern-day games have stopped implementing the cheat code system that was iconic in the early years of gaming. Luckily for players who own the PC version, they can still implement cheats into the game by downloading a cheat trainer. These cheat trainers can activate useful cheats such as the following:

  • Unlimited HP
  • Unlimited MP
  • Edit Max HP
  • Edit Max MP
  • Gummi Ship Unlimited HP
  • Gummi Ship Unlimited Energy
  • Gummi Ship Minigame Max Score
  • Unlimited Exp
  • Exp Multiplier
  • Unlimited AP
  • Set Game Speed
  • Edit Money
  • Obtain All Keyblades
  • Obtain All Staffs
  • Obtain All Shields
  • Obtain All Accessories
  • Obtain All Consumables
  • Obtain All Materials
  • Obtain All Gummi Ship Blueprints
  • Obtain All Gummi Ship Parts
  • One-Hit Kills
  • Damage Multiplier

And for all players, including console users, there are several cool exploits and secrets available. Here are some interesting secrets for you to test out:

Jump over the wall at Muddy Path

Another way to reach the immediate second level of Muddy Path other than by hopping into the upward draft coming from the circular well(which works only when playing the mini-game, “Pooh’s Muddy Path”) is by executing the following sequence:

•Plant Sora directly in front of the wall where Pooh is transported over via the ‘blue butterfly flowers’ in the mini-game
•Regular jump-up
•and at your PEAK HEIGHT, swing your Keyblade
..and Sora should then land barely upon the edge of the ground up there, without even a ‘landing’ noise produced.

Stop the clock in the Hercules Cup Time Trial

When fighting Hercules during the Hercules Cup Time Trial, you can pause the game and select “Restart”. Instead of restarting the entire challenge, you will instead restart at the Hercules fight with the clock stopped at whatever time you paused. This allows you to achieve a very fast time or complete the time trial at a low level.

Farther Distance Ahead With the Keyblade

Secrets in Neverland Clock Tower

Go to Neverland when the game’s clock is on an exact hour and fly up to the group of doors on one of the sides, at the exact hour one of the doors will be glowing, examine it to get a reward.
Note: The Later the hour the better the reward!

Shiitake Rank and Matsutake Rank

If you jump in mid-air while swinging the Keyblade a couple of times, you will notice that Sora will be “propelling” forward. When swinging the Keyblade, Sora will get more air during his jumps and, therefore be able to reach certain distant places. For example, in the Deep Jungle world, at the treehouse, there is a ship in midair attached with rope. If you get all the way on top of the actual treehouse, jump off the edge and keep swinging your keyblade. You will land inside it without needing the High Jump or Glide ability.

White Mushroom Gestures

Knock a rare truffle in the air for a total of 50-99 times and you get an item called “Shiitake Rank”. Knock it in the air for a total of 100 and on to get the item “Matsutake Rank”. Use the Aeroga trick to do this more easily.

If you do one of the below 3 times in a row to a White Mushroom it will drop a Spell Art. Collect all of them to get Goofy’s Dream Sheild from Merlin. They also have a chance of dropping the rare item, “Mystery Goo”.

Shivers: Fire
Fans itself: Blizzard
Light appears over head: Thunder
Spins: Aero
Falls on the ground: Cure
Stops moving: Stop
Floats off of the ground: Gravity

Unlimited Moogle Points

For this secret open two connecting rooms, and wipe out all the enemies inside. The places where moogle points are will regenerate after you leave a room and return, but the enemies don’t. Just go back and forth in those two rooms to get all the moogle points you want. Depending on how lucky you are, you can get around 2000 in 5 minutes.
