Star Wars Battlefront just got its Outer Rim DLC, but who cares about that? We’re in need of constant stimulation and exciting news! Good thing EA gets that, because it’s already confirmed the game’s next expansion. It’s called Bespin, and it’ll be released in June.
The biggest news with Star Wars Battlefront’ s Bespin is that it will add Lando Calrissian and Dangar as playable characters. It’ll be set around Cloud City, with four maps to explore. While they weren’t detailed, EA did mention carbonite chambers, fighter squadrons, and Cloud City itself. A new game mode, extra weapons, and more Star Cards will also come with this add-on.
EA also talked about some free content that will come to Star Wars Battlefront between now and Bespin. There will be special activities on May 4, in honor of Star Wars Day. In-game events, like community missions and double score weekends, Hutt Contracts with more Star Cards, and some offline options will be coming.
I know there have always been content issues with Star Wars Battlefront, but it seems like the game is starting to catch up.
