EA and DICE have revealed the next bit of paid DLC on the way for Star Wars Battlefront . It’s called Bespin . This addition will grant you the opportunity to play as Lando Calrissian, the legendary smuggler; or as he would put it, the “galactic entrepreneur.” Star Wars junkies will remember that Lando was the original owner of the Millennium Falcon before losing it to Han Solo in a game of chance. Bespin will also let players take command of Dengar, the Corellian bounty hunter who at one time was operating within the same syndicate as Boba Fett.
Apparently there will be a new “cloud car” vehicle to pilot, as well as a couple of new weapons. “No matter your preference of short or long range combat, there will be something new to try out in Cloud City. Hunt enemies within the Bioniip Laboratories or carbon-freezing chambers with the new X-8 Night Sniper and EE-4 blasters.” EA says we’ll be getting more details on Bespin soon, so I’m sure we’ll be seeing some footage at E3. It’ll be available on June 21 for season pass holders, and will release for everyone else two weeks after that.
