Left 4 Dead Arcade Game Coming To Japanese Arcades

Left 4 Dead Arcade Game Coming To Japanese Arcades

Yesterday, reports surfaced online confirming that a brand new Left 4 Dead game is coming to Japanese arcades later this year. According to IGN , the game will be called Left 4 Dead: Survivors and is a joint venture project between Valve and Japanese company Taito. Both sides had a similar deal in place when Taito released Half-Life 2: Survivor in Japan way back in 2006.

Traditionally, some Japanese arcade titles never actually make it over to the US. Half-life 2: Survivor is a prime example of this rule, and unfortunately this game may follow the same suit. Of course, with Valve you never really know what could happen until it actually happens.

While many Japanese fans may be looking forward to this game, most gamers on this side of the world are still patiently waiting to see what Valve releases next. Half-life 3 would seem like an obvious choice at this point and time, but the studio has given no indication of when or even if this project will ever see the light of day. Hopefully it does because we all deserve to experience a proper ending to the franchise once and for all.

What games if any do you all think that Valve are currently working on? Please feel free to let us know in the comments section below.
