Fans of LEGO and the Marvel Universe may be happy to hear that a new trailer of the handheld version of the supposedly critically acclaimed LEGO Marvel Super Heroes has been revealed, and–according to a press release– LEGO Marvel Super Heroes: Universe in Peril , the handheld counterpart in question, is “bringing the Super Heroes of the Marvel Universe to a stocking near you!” apparently.
LEGO Marvel Super Heroes: Universe in Peril is available for both PlayStation Vita and Nintendo 3DS (and assumably 2DS by extension), and features 45 missions filled with the comical action as well as many Marvel characters to choose from.
The aim of the game itself is to stop Loki and a multitude of Marvel villains from constructing a super-weapon that’s capable of destroying the world (because nothing’s more generic than pulling the “we’re building a weapon to destroy the word for such and such reasons”), and throughout the game you’ll be able to visit key locations in the Marvel Universe, such as Stark Tower, Asteroid M, a Hydra base and the X-Mansion.
