Mario Kart’s appearance on the 3DS is a surprise to nobody, but of course this iteration of the game comes with a new gimmick. The karts are now equipped with parasails and propellers, and will be able to glide through the air and run underwater. Players will also be able to customize their karts by choosing from different bodies, wheels, and sails. This should add some variety to the traditional large-medium-small kart size choice, adding a bit more strategy to the races. Other than those changes, the basic Mario Kart gameplay appeared intact, spinning rainbow question mark boxes and all.  It will be available this holiday season. |
