BioWare announced today that Mass Effect 2 will be hitting retail in North America on January 26, 2010 and arrive in Europe on January 29, 2010. Players with forethought are also set for pre-order goodies. If you go through GameStop, you’ll get the Terminus Armor and M-90 Blackstorm heavy weapon (hmmm… my Shepard’s a pistol specialist). If you pre-order through other “select” retail outlets, you’ll get the Inferno Armor. According to the descriptions found below, GameStop is the way to go.
