Mass Effect 3’s Multiplayer Has Issues

Mass Effect 3’s Multiplayer Has Issues

None

Mass Effect 3 is the first title in the series to have a multiplayer component, and players are starting to feel the growing pains. Reports are starting to surface of several semi-major bugs that have afflicting the game’s multiplayer.

Some users are running into problems with their character classes. Players are able to purchase equipment mods for their characters, but when they actually try to use them, they find themselves locked out of the classes or that the packs are unusable.

“Some players are experiencing an issue where kits they have unlocked in multiplayer are becoming locked again, typically after switching kits,” said Chris Priestly, BioWare’s community coordinator. “You can reduce your chances of this happening by avoiding going into the Store while ‘Ready’ for a multiplayer match. It’s best to un-ready yourself before you go to the store. We are investigating this issue and will update when we have more information. Thank you for your patience.”

I suppose this is the type of thing we should expect from a popular series that’s never attempted a multiplayer component. But this obviously doesn’t make it any easier when you just want to use whatever swanky new piece of gear that you just purchased.

Either way, BioWare is on the case, and we should see a patch in the near future.
