Mega Man Board Game Fetches $150k Off Kickstarter

Da-nah-nuh-nuh, SUPER FIGHTING ROBOT! Da-nah-nuh-nuuuuh, MEGA MAN !

Yes, the blue bomber is back, except he still doesn’t have a new video game to speak of. Instead, Texas based board game company Jasco Games was looking to make an officially licensed Mega Man board game. They asked for $70,000 and in less than a day they made over twice as much. Now the project is looking to increase its production value, going as far as to offer Mega Man miniatures.

“Kickstarter funding will allow us to use better materials, offer more extras like miniatures, cards, extra boards, and polish the finalized product, giving fans an even better experience and something that will be worthy of any Mega Man enthusiast’s collection,” said Jasco games.

The Mega Man board game allows you to control both Mega Man and other heroes like Roll, Protoman, and Bass, alongside robot masters at the same time. Your goal is to defeat all the robot masters while preventing your opponents from doing the same.

Anyone who donates $60 or higher will receive a full copy of the game which includes four robot master boards, the central Dr. Wily board, 12 robot master boss cards, 4 preconstructed player decks of 40 cards each, 4 character cards, 32 tokens, and 9 game pieces.
