Microsoft revealed today that games downloaded via their Games on Demand service – due to launch on August 11 th – will cost gamers between $19.99 and $29.99. Yesterday, the Xbox LIVE Summer Update details were once again released. Within that presser a list of the Games on Demand launch titles was included. After the jump you’ll find a copy of that list. While $19.99 to $29.99 seems like a fair price point on the surface for such titles, when one looks deeper, players can easily acquire most of them for less at a used game store. Moreover, physical media along with instruction manuals and cases (even if they are abused by their former owners) are typically more desirable then waiting interminably for tens of GBs of data to download. Time will tell how competitive the service will truly be.
