Middle-Earth: Shadow of War Delayed

Middle-Earth: Shadow of War Delayed

Middle-Earth: Shadow of War is the sequel to the reasonably popular Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor . A great many enjoyed the game but at the same time, an equal number found it incredibly repetitive and ultimately boring. Developers Monolith Productions have promised that this has all been fixed in Shadow of War . The Nemesis System within the game has been entirely reworked and expanded, which should minimize the feelings of repetition people had in Shadow of Mordor . The gameplay will also be further expanded in Shadow of War with a larger open world and more expansive story. But, it will be a while before we see it.

Unfortunately the wait for all these improvements is going to be even longer than originally planned. Monolith Productions made the difficult decision to delay the game to make some necessary pre-release improvements to the game. It will now be releasing almost everywhere worldwide on October 10, 2017. New Zealand, Australia, and Japan are listed as having different release dates but there’s no indication on when that may be.

Monolith also mentioned that they will be showing more of Shadow of War at E3 in the coming weeks. So there’s our silver lining at least.
