MLG Announces Winter Season Titles

MLG Announces Winter Season Titles

With the Winter Gaming Season right around the corner, MLG has announced which games will be featured this year. Well, they’ve officially announced two of them anyway.

Both Call of Duty: Black Ops II and League of Legends have been confirmed . No real surprises there. Though, it’s personally sad to see Halo 4 off the docket. The times, they are a changing.

The third game, according to GameSpot, is StarCraft 2: Heart of the Swarm. This backs ups the tweets made by MLG CEO and cofounder Sundance DiGiovanni.

Heart of the Swarm already seems to have found a home in MLG. Heck, just take a look at the organization’s website . It’s practically an advertisement for Blizzard’s upcoming expansion.

The Winter Championships will end on with a tournament in Dallas starting on March 15th and ending on the 17th. StarCraft 2: Heart of the Swarm launches March 12th, but is currently enjoying its beta testing.
