Mobius Final Fantasy is out now on Android and iOS. What is Mobius Final Fantasy, you ask? That’s a great question, and until last week I had no idea that this game existed at all. Even after I learned about it I just assumed that it was a fancy mobile port of Final Fantasy with some new CG cut-scenes. Square Enix hasn’t done very well marketing or promoting this joint, but it’s been well-received in Japan.
Mobius Final Fantasy is a brand new JRPG developed from the ground up for mobile platforms. This isn’t a spin-off like Record Keeper or even a semi-spinoff like Brave Exvius – this a unique, new entry in the Final Fantasy franchise. The game features a unique story, turn-based combat, abilities, magic, summons, and a jobs system. It’s graphics-intensive and will take up about 500GB of space on your device, so be sure to clear out some space if you plan to try it out.
