Neptunia V Announced For PS3

None

Rumors that the Neptunia series of JRPGs would be getting another sequel have come to fruition. Dengeki PlayStation recently ran a feature that confirmed the existence of Neptunia V, the third Neptunia RPG. Yeah, it’s confusing, but no more so than Final Fantasy II being Final Fantasy IV. Here, the “V” stands for “Victory,” rather than “Five.”

The feature was heavier on art than information. We know that the game is set in the 1980s and that Mizuno Naoko is the producer. We also know that the four goddesses will be reprising their lead roles in the game, and that you will somehow be able to affect what costumes each of the goddesses wears. That’s about it, though; outside of an improved graphics engine, all other details about the game are being kept under-wraps. At least we get to take a look at the awesome character designs from Tsunako in the feature, but hopefully we will hear more concrete info on the game itself soon.
