A whole host of new features have been shown off in Bravely Second , the sequel to Bravely Default . A lot of these are usability changes, while several are also gameplay changes as well.
The first feature shown is the “quick select.” Quick select allows you to quickly choose the last command you chose by pressing the L button (the same button that sets you to auto-battle). When you press this button on the menu, you automatically register the last command you entered. This is useful if you want to attack four times or cast the same spell four times without going through menus.
There is a new job called Wizard with a new ability called Postscript. This allows you to add modifiers to your magic, to give it effects, change its strength, and so forth. There is also a new ability called Halfies, which allows you to use one item on the entire party, but you have to cut its effectiveness by half.
A demo for Bravely Second is currently being worked on and should be announced in the near future.
