Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock is getting two new downloadable track packs. The Modern Metal pack is available for download right now on Xbox LIVE and will be on the PlayStation Network shortly. The new track pack includes master recordings of Deftones’ “Hole in the Earth,” Avenged Sevenfold’s “Almost Easy”, and Thrice’s “The Arsonist.” Additionally, Activision will be celebrating St. Patrick’s Day with a FREE track pack from Celtic punk band Dropkick Murphys. The St. Patty’s pack will be available the middle of the month. The song list comes from the band’s sixth album, The Meanest of Times, and will include master recordings of “Famous for Nothing,” “(F)lannigan’s Ball” and “Johnny, I Hardly Knew Ya.”
