In a press release this morning, Bandai Namco has announced the details for Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom ’s DLC plans. This includes some free content for all players, in addition to content reserved for those who purchase the game’s season pass.
This first add-on is the Adventure Pack. It drops on August 9, 2018 and will be free for all players. The Adventure Pack adds more floors to the Faraway Forest Cave, two new boss fights (Blackhart and Zeta), and new quests to look for after the game’s story. New costumes and other rewards will also be included.
The second DLC is the first of the season pass packs, and it will be launching in Winter 2018. This will introduce a new dungeon to really challenge seasoned players, with unannounced rewards to make the challenge worth it. The third DLC and second season pass pack will launch in early 2019. This will be an actual story expansion, and more details on what that entails are still to come.
