Nintendo Details Its Best Buy/E3 Plans

Nintendo Details Its Best Buy/E3 Plans

Nintendo’s philosophy in approaching E3 2013 has been intriguing, to say the least. They’re not hosting a pre-show press conference this time, but there will be a game showcase. The major message they’ve been trying to convey, other than “it’s all about the games” is that this E3 is about the gamers themselves.

That’s why they’re teaming up with Best Buy to make these E3 exclusive games playable at 110 Best Buy locations nationwide. If you want to try them out yourself, find a location near you and make sure you’re there between 4PM and 8PM on June 12 or 1PM and 5PM on June 15 (all times are local). The Best Buy website currently has a tool up for locating specific stores near you that will be participating, organized by state and town.

Some of the locations are a bit perplexing, with states like New York and Pennsylvania missing obvious population centers such as New York City and Philadelphia. We’ll see if the list expands with time (or, perhaps, if the method by which Nintendo is providing these demos is not feasible in a tightly-packed downtown).
