Upset you didn’t get that My Nintendo email invitation to try the Switch before anyone else? Well, you have another chance to try the system ahead of its launch. You’ll just need to travel to Australia to do it. It turns out the Switch will be playable at RTX Sydney 2017.
RTX Sydney 2017 is a Rooster Teeth gaming and internet culture convention held in Sydney, Australia between February 4 and 5. This year, there will be a playable Switch demo at the event. Attendees will be able to walk up and sample the system. We don’t know what games will be playable, or if it will even just be a tech demo, but it will be there to try.
At this point, it’ll probably be impossible for anyone not already going to RTX Sydney to get there. I mean, it’s a little late to get a passport, airfare, hotel, and tickets in order. But, at least we’ll get some good hands-on impressions out of this!
