Every month, Xbox 360 and Xbox One owners who subscribe to Xbox Live Gold can grab some no-strings-attached free games. The offerings for October 2015 have been announced and, while they aren’t incredibly exciting, they’re still solid and enjoyable games.
The first half of the month has one Xbox 360 and one Xbox One game for players. People with the last generation’s system will be able to get Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes from October 1-15. Those with an Xbox One will be able to get Valiant Hearts: The Great War from October 1-31.
The second half of the month offers the same game to both Xbox 360 and Xbox One owners. Regardless of platform, people will get the first season of The Walking Dead from Telltale Games. Seems appropriate for Halloween, right? It will be offered from October 16 until November 15.
It may be old, but The Walking Dead is definitely worth a playthrough. Maybe clear a weekend for it next month?
