Overwatch and Doom Headline 2016 Game Awards Nominees

Do you love award shows? I suppose that means you’re looking forward to the Game Awards 2016. I watch it for the surprise announcements myself, but there are all sorts of good reasons to watch. The show’s going to be held on December 1 in Los Angeles’ Microsoft theater, and all 63 of the nominated games, developers, and eSports participants have been revealed.

Here’s the full list of nominees and categories for the 2016 Game Awards. You’re going to see a lot of familiar faces.

Game of the Year:

For a game that delivers the absolute best experience across all creative and technical fields.

I have a feeling Overwatch, Titanfall 2, DOOM, and Stardew Valley are going to clean up. I’d like to see Fire Emblem Fates win too. There are a lot of great games up there, though, and all of them deserve accolades.
