Blizzard seems always willing to impress, as they continue to do whatever they can to bring their players what they want to see. Of course Overwatch is one of their biggest communities at the moment, and they’ve done much to give that group of players plenty to enjoy. The exterior lore through comics and social medias has kept fans eager for more. There was also the recent first anniversary event.
Now it would seem Blizzard is releasing some awesome physical options for Overwatch fans. Via their European blog, Blizzard has announced 24 custom controller designs based on Overwatch ‘s heroes. Xbox One and PS4 versions of each heroes’ design will be available for purchase in Europe. Blizzard will also be giving these controllers away in a series of giveaways, including one through IGN UK.
If you live in the U.S. I’d say it’s time to get in touch with your friends across the pond. Maybe they’ll be kind enough to pick one up for you. Otherwise, you might be able to buy one second-hand online. Here’s hoping Blizzard finds a way to offer these fancy controllers stateside, but for now there’s no indication this will happen.
