Overwatch’s Free Weekend Set for November 18–21

Overwatch’s Free Weekend Set for November 18–21

Overwatch is an absolutely huge game. Are you wondering how it got that way? Are you one of the many who hasn’t picked it up and played yet? Well, you’re in luck. You’re going to have a chance to try the full game for a nice, long weekend ahead of Black Friday. Blizzard has announced a free Overwatch weekend for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC copies of the game from November 18-21, 2016.

The Overwatch free weekend will let people enjoy pretty much everything in the game so far. The Quick Play, Custom Game, and Weekly Brawl modes will all be available. You’ll be able to use all 22 heroes and heroines and the game’s 13 maps. You can even make progress and carry it over to a full copy of the game, since your progress will be tied to your PSN, XBLA, or Battle.net account. Though, you will need to have PlayStation Plus or Xbox Live Gold if you’re on a console.

This is such a great idea. It’s coming right ahead of Black Friday. You know some stores are going to have Overwatch on sale. We’ll be able to sample the game, make some progress, and then pick it up again next week after the the big sale events!
