Paragon has been in a period of paid early access for some time now. Because I signed up for the beta so long ago, before Epic changed its early access plans, I’ve been entitled to a few free weekends already. While my impressions haven’t been overwhelmingly positive so far, Paragon is a game that Epic admits is still very much in the works. There are improvements yet to be made, and the community is playing a big part in how the final game will shape up.
If you’ve been itching for a new MOBA, then Paragon might just be the game for you. Running on Unreal 4, the game looks a little more realistic and mature compared to most other MOBAs out there, and the heroes all felt extremely unique when I played last month. If you’d like to try it for yourself, Epic is holding a free beta weekend May 26-30. Anyone on PC or PS4 can participate as long as you register here (look for the beta sign-up button in the corner) by May 25, so don’t forget.
