Now that the Tokyo Game Show has come and gone and Persona 5 has been delayed until 2016, we’re finally seeing news reports and information fitting a game coming out within a few seasons. For example, until now we’ve really only seen four characters: the protagonist, his friends Ryuji and Ann, and a mascot character cat named Morgana. Now, we know their Persona names and that another member has joined their crew.
The hero, with his persona Arsene, Ryuji with Captain Kidd, Ann with Carmen, and Morgana with Zorro make up the Phantom Thieves. They steal hearts from rotten adults to save the world. Now, Yuusuke, with his persona Goemon, will join them. If Persona 3 and 4 are any indication, the cast could include another 4 playable characters.
Here’s hoping Persona 5 is set far enough in the future than Nanako, from Persona 4 , could join the cast!
