Phil Frazier Leaves EA

Phil Frazier Leaves EA

None

Do you know who Phil Frazier is? No, he isn’t the main character of an old sitcom. He’s a thirteen-year veteran of EA sports, and up until a while ago, he was the Executive Producer for all the Madden NFL titles. So every time you pressed a button to throw a pigskin, Frazier was partially responsible.

Recently, Frazier has left his company of thirteen years to “look for new opportunities” according to a statement from EA. Frazier is following in the footsteps of Ian Cummings, the former Creative Director of the series, who had been with the company for ten years.

With Madden NFL 12 due for release next summer, Frazier will be leaving in the final stages of testing and quality assurance. No word has been given by Frazier as to where he will be going or what he will be doing next. However, we do know that Roy Harvey, the Executive Producer of NCAA Football will be taking over Frazier’s position as Executive Producer of the Madden series.

Wherever you go Frazier, we hope you continue to bring the sports game magic into the beer-stained living rooms of sports fans everywhere.
