Pokemon Go’ s star may be fading, but there’s always a chance it could be revived. After all, we’ll be getting the ability to walk with our Pokemon and trade them in a future update. And, at the Apple September 2016 presser, we learned that the Apple Watch will get its own Pokemon Go app this year.
Here’s how the Pokemon Go Apple Watch app will work. It’s basically a truncated version of the full game. You can check on your trainer stats, your level, and basic information. A tracker function will be present, so you can see which Pokemon are nearby and know when a Pokemon is right there. It will also be able to hatch eggs while walking with the app open.
It honestly sounds like the Pokemon Go Apple Watch app is everything you’d want the Pokemon Go Plus to be. Except, you know, more useful. I bet there will be a lot of Apple Watch owners who’ll use it to become the very best.
