Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands Gets New Details Revealed

Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands will be set for shipment in May 2010.

Though we already knew the game was set to return to its Sands of Time story arch, we didn’t know exactly how it would do so.

In addition to reminiscent gameplay, The Forgotten Sands will actually take place between Sands of Time and the dark second chapter, Warrior Within. Players will be introduced to a new storyline, new characters, “and new powers over nature and time.”

Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands is the next chapter in the fan-favorite Sands of Time universe. Visiting his brother’s kingdom following his adventure in Azad, the Prince finds the royal palace under siege from a mighty army bent on its destruction. The versions for Wii, Nintendo DSi and DS as well as the PSP system will feature a different gaming experience from the versions for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 system. More details will be unveiled in the near future.
