Sony has provided details on what’s to come for North American PlayStation Plus members for the weeks of August 28 and September 4.
Starting with tomorrow, Lights, Camera, Party! will get a 50% discount, putting its price down to $15.00 for Plus users, while Space Channel 5: Part 2 will come down 40% from its original sale price to $2.99. Spelunker HD, meanwhile, will also see its price cut down by half, as it’ll only be $5.00.
Next week’s big addition will be the inclusion of Borderlands to Plus’ rotating Instant Game Collection, so if you’re a Plus member next month, Gearbox’s lootfest FPS is yours for free. Other deals will include Daytona USA and Greed Corp being slashed, with the former being cut 40% to $2.99, and the latter 50% to $2.50.
Besides all that, Sony also noted that further details on the addition of the PS Plus service to the PlayStation Vita, as well as the promised upgrade to the handheld’s Online Game Storage capacity, will be on the way “soon enough.” Not exactly inspiring, sure, but it’s something.
