PUBG Xbox One Release Date Announced

PUBG Xbox One Release Date Announced

At E3 2017, PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds ( PUBG ) was announced for the Xbox One with some degree of unspecified exclusivity. During the Paris Games Week 2017 event, the release date for this new port-slash-console-debut for PUBG was finally revealed.

Xbox One payers will be able to try PUBG out on December 12, 2017. This will be an Early Access-style release via the Xbox Game Preview program. It will cost $29.99, which is the same price as the PC version. Bluehole, developer on PUBG , will be supporting both versions. The developer also confirmed that the 1.0 release of PC PUBG is also set for this coming December.

Some extra content will also be available for the Xbox One version of PUBG , albeit as purchasable DLC. These are coming in the form of cosmetic visual packs. There will be three packs: the Warrior Pack, Accessory Pack, and the Tracksuit Pack. Beyond these packs, Bluehole said it doesn’t plan to offer further purchasable content while PUBG is in Xbox Game Preview.
