Ready For More Lara Croft?

Already finished the Tomb Raider reboot? Looking for further adventures with the new-and-improved Lara Croft, but don’t want to just waste time, tracking down collectibles on a deserted island? It appears Square Enix may already be on their way to delivering more of Lara, if a recent trademark registration with the US Patent and Trademark Office is to be believed.

Dubbed “Lara Croft: Reflections,” the trademark applied to “video games” as well as “publications in electronic form,” covering it by medium means has complete control over the franchise. It also mentions “online entertainment services.”

The last time the Lara Croft title was used in lieu of Tomb Raider was for the downloadable co-op game, Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light. That was an unusual, puzzle-centric, isometric twist on the Tomb Raider formula, and one that the Tomb Raider team has specifically stated they have no intention of expanding upon. Does that mean that Lara Croft: Reflections is a full-blown sequel to Tomb Raider? DLC? Or, maybe, it’s something entirely new.
