Resident Evil: Revelations 2 Confirmed for February, 2015

Word has come down that bigwig publisher Capcom has revealed the release date for the next upcoming addition to the Resident Evil franchise, Resident Evil: Revelations 2 .

The four-episode long game will be releasing in incremental batches, the first of which being launched on Tuesday, February 17 next year. The remaining three episodes will release over the following three weeks respectively; one new episode per week until all four are released. All four release dates have been bullet-pointed below.

What’s more is that Barry Burton will also be making a return, and will even be a playable character. He’ll be teaming up with a new character named Natalia Korda, and together they’ll be working together to find Burton’s daughter. Natalia, a little girl, has abilities that allow for her to sense hidden items and enemies.

Each episode will feature two scenarios: one focuses on Claire’s and Moira’s campaign while the other focuses on the campaign of Burton and Natalia. Additionally, each episode will also feature a Raid game mode.

All four episodes will cost $5.99 / £4.99 each as individual purchases. The whole lot can be bought for $24.99 / £19.99 as part of the game’s Season Pass. If you do buy the Season Pass, you’ll receive access to two additional spin-off episodes that touch on the backstories of Moira and Natalia and a new Raid character: Hunk.
