Resident Evil VII’s Demo Exclusivity Ends

Resident Evil VII’s Demo Exclusivity Ends

Resident Evil VII has quite a few PlayStation exclusives. It’s the only platform with a VR option, letting PlayStation VR owners have a unique look at the game. It’ll have early access to The Banned Footage, extra DLC. It even had early access to a demo, which received updates. But now, that demo is finally coming to the other systems that’ll be seeing the game.

The PC’s Resident Evil VII demo will launch on December 19. Its main drawing point is a plethora of customization options not present in the console versions of the game. Capcom offered a list of the visual adjustments you can make, and you can tweak things like display mode, field of view, frame rate, refresh rate, rendering method, resolution scaling, screen resolution, texture filtering, texture quality, v-sync, and more.

No word on whether the Xbox One Resident Evil VII demo will appear that day too. It seems likely. After all, the game launches on January 24. You’ve got to give people some time to test it out!
