According to an IGN report of today’s Credit Suisse 2010 Global Media and Communications Convergence Conference, Viacom CEO and President Philippe Dauman confirmed that his company “plans to release Rock Band 3 this holiday.” Of course, the game will be developed by Harmonix, published by MTV Games, and distributed by Electronic Arts. Though no hard details were released, the game will supposedly “innovate and revolutionize the music genre once again, just as Harmonix did with the original Rock Band, Rock Band 2, and The Beatles: Rock Band.” We’ll bring you more details as they become available in the coming weeks.
