Rocksmith Tracks Revealed

Rocksmith Tracks Revealed

None

Ubisoft is exploding onto the rhythm and music game scene with Rocksmith, a title that they are most likely hoping will take the place of the now hibernating Guitar Hero. Rocksmith challenges gamers to use a real guitar, and any electric guitar qualifies. Every game will come packaged with a quarter inch jack to USB converter that will allow them to plug their instruments right into the PS3 or Xbox. Cool concept right?

Originally the game only announced six tracks available for play including “House of the Rising Sun” by The Animals, “I Got Mine” by The Black Keys, “Rebel Rebel” by David Bowie, “Slow Hands” by Interpol, “In Bloom” by Nirvana, and “(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction” by The Rolling Stones. However, Ubisoft recently unveiled twenty-three new titles that can be played on the game. The list is as follows:

  • Best Coast – “When I’m With You”

  • Blur – “Song 2”

  • The Black Keys – “Next Girl”

  • The Boxer Rebellion – “Step out of the Car”
  • Cream – “Sunshine of Your Love”
  • The Cribs – “We Share the Same Skies”
  • The Cure – “Boys Don’t Cry”
  • Jenny O – “Well OK Honey”
  • Lynyrd Skynyrd –” Sweet Home Alabama”
  • Nirvana – “Breed”
  • Pixies – “Where Is My Mind?”
  • Radiohead – “High and Dry”
  • Red Fang – “Number Thirteen”
  • The Rolling Stones – “The Spider and the Fly”
  • Silversun Pickups – “Panic Switch”
  • Soundgarden – “Outshined”
  • Spoon –” Me and the Bean”
  • Stone Temple Pilots – “Vasoline”
  • Taddy Porter – “Mean Bitch”
  • Titus Andronicus – “A More Perfect Union”
  • White Denim – “Burnished”
  • The White Stripes – “Icky Thump”
  • Yellow Moon Band – “Chimney”

Be on the lookout for Rocksmith when it releases this fall on HD consoles. We will try (and most likely fail) at playing a real guitar with Rocksmith at this year’s E3, and we’ll let you know what we think.
