Rockstar Will Improve the Red Dead Online Economy

Rockstar Will Improve the Red Dead Online Economy

Rockstar Games has been running the Red Dead Online beta for around a week now, and the number one response from the community has been disappointment over the premium economy. A lot of progress in the game is tied to Gold Bars, which take hours of time in the game to earn without paying real money. Rockstar Games released a response this week, promising to address the economy as the Red Dead Online experience is developed.

The statement is brief, but directly addresses the issue at hand. It starts off by thanking those who have been playing the Red Dead Online beta so far and states that feedback from this early state of the game is instrumental in forming the experience going forward. Then it notes that the team’s focuses are primarily bug-fixing, and making adjustments to the in-game economy to “ensure all activities are appropriately rewarding and fun.”

The statement then notes that Red Dead Online was built to support quick updates. More are coming not only later this week, but the following week as well.
