Have you checked any of Rockstar Games’ social media accounts lately? All of them are sending a pretty clear message. Well, not as clear as an actual game announcement, but there’s something almost as good as one. Its website , Facebook , and Twitter are in the red, as in Red Dead Redemption . Then, this morning, a new image joined it. The latest teaser is a red sunset with a yellow sun in the background and seven cowboys walking in shadows ahead of it.
We know it’s not a re-release of Red Dead Redemption . Versions of that game have already appeared on the Xbox One and PlayStation 4. No, this teaser of Rockstar’s logo on a red background is about something new. There’s been talk about a new Red Dead game for over a year, and now it appears those rumors are going to be proved right.
Don’t get too excited or prepared to throw money. There’s a good chance that whatever this is could be a ways off. Remember, Rockstar Games announced Grand Theft Auto V on November 3, 2011, but didn’t end up releasing the the game until September 17, 2013. If it announces a Red Dead Redemption follow-up in the next few weeks, it could very well be a year or two before it’s released!
