Rumor has It, No Destiny 2 in September

Rumor has It, No Destiny 2 in September

It was assumed the next Destiny would be released this year. Bungie’s 10 year plan for the series suggested that the next update would be out in September 2016, with additional iterations every other year until 2019. However, Kotaku is reporting that the sequel to Destiny won’t be released in September.

The Kotaku report went on to detail additional tidbits about the state of Destiny . Apparently, Bungie keeps shifting what will and won’t happen with the game. The microtransactions going from cosmetic to level boosting was a major point. There are also questions about what will still come to Destiny or be held in reserve for Destiny 2 .

As for the meantime, Destiny is preparing for a Valentine’s Day event . Crimson Days will begin in February 9, bringing with it a 2v2 Crucible Mode for pairs.
