RUMOR: Rocksteady Making Silver-Age Batman Game?

RUMOR: Rocksteady Making Silver-Age Batman Game?

None

According to a recent article by Variety magazine, Rocksteady may be looking to develop yet another Batman game.

This wouldn’t be another Arkham game though, instead taking place in the Silver Age, around the time that Batman first met The Joker. It would feature a more inexperienced Batman and a younger robin, possibly with the same campy humor the Silver-Age comics had.

In addition, Batman very frequently teamed up with other DC superheroes in the Silver-Age, so we could potentially see plenty of cameos. This could only help to increase the popularity of the DC brand, considering they already are getting a huge boost from the development of Injustice: Gods Among Us, a DC crossover fighting game.

This supposed game has not yet been confirmed by Warner Bros. or by Rocksteady. It was nowhere to be found at E3, and so far there is no evidence that it will show up at San Diego Comic Con. According to Variety , the game will come out sometime in 2014 or later. It sounds a bit fishy to us, but heck, stranger things have happened.
