Saint Seiya: Ougon Densetsu also known as Saint Seiya: Golden Legend is an RPG based on the popular anime and manga series Saint Seiya. The title was developed by Bandai in 1987 and released to a Japanese audience on August 10th of that year. This title was also released in France since the anime had some success. The game was received well at the time and capitalized on the anime’s success.

Saint Seiya: Ougon Densetsu Premise
Saint Seiya: Ougon Densetsu is a unique RPG since it combines both side-scrolling action mechanics as well as a turn-based combat system. To succeed in this game, you’ll distribute stats amongst various attributes before each attack. This mechanics makes it one of the most interesting and unique RPGs of all time. The game follows an orphan named Seiya who is sent to a Sanctuary in Greece to become the Pegasus Saint. After six years, Seiya becomes the Pegasus Saint and returns to Japan to find his older sister.

Increase Cosmos
After receiving the Pegasus Cloth, whenever you win a fight against a Saint or another turn-based challenger, the doctor will be available at the hospital to fully restore your wounds. Before you start another fight, proceed to the hospital and distribute all of your Damage to your Cosmos until you are down to a single Damage point. This will boost your Cosmos to a higher level. Then enter the hospital to have your Damage restored.
Infinite EXP
This cheat is only available in the Japanese version. In the middle of the game, press the select button to go to the subscreen, and choose to look at your Data (のうりょく). Put the cursor next to End (おわり), and press Right dpad+Up dpad or Left dpad+Up dpad. The cursor should move to a location on the right side of the screen. Then tap the B button to increase your experience points.
Revival
Once your health is reduced to 0, press the select button to go to the subscreen, and choose to look at your Data (のうりょく). Go to your DAMAGE, and increase the value at the cost of some Cosmos, and you will be revived.
Level 40
On the password screen, enter the password:
とうきょうとたいとうくこまがたばんだいのがんぐだいさんぶのほし
The French code is:
TUAS GAGNE!! TUES PASSE.. MAITRE
When inputting this password, you will be able to increase the level of your abilities beyond the normal Level 20 cap, all the way up to Level 40.
