SoCal Regionals, one of the biggest events in the pro-fighting game circuit, is coming up soon, and tons of big-name games like Super Street Fighter IV, BlazBlue: Continuum Shift, and Mortal Kombat are having big money tournaments there. However, what I’m personally the most excited about is that Reverge Lab’s indie fighter Skullgirls is holding its first-ever cash tourney. Why is this so cool? Because Skullgirls isn’t even out yet! 
Oh, and if Mike Z, the Skullgirls head designer, is there, ask him if this is a “real Soviet tournament.” He will probably only choke you for a little while. By Angelo M. D’Argenio |
