A new site, written in French, has revealed details about Sony’s upcoming eSports platform, PlayStation Plus League. It is, however, unclear whether or not this service will make its way to the US or other regions.
The service allows members to sign up for tournaments and matchmaking in some of the platforms most competitive games, including Rocket League , Mortal Kombat X , and FIFA 16 . Competitors will also have chances to win large sums of money as prizes.
It’s possible that this site has gone live ahead of an official announcement, though Sony didn’t mention the platform at its Paris Games Week press conference. The idea certainly seems like a good one, and it would be a shame to not see the feature spread to more regions.
