Internet images have confirmed that the January issue of Game Informer will have details about the latest iteration of Lara Croft’s adventures, entitled simply Tomb Raider. This entry in the series will focus on Lara Croft’s origin, giving gamers a taste of young Lara and her rise to the iconic Tomb Raider.  Currently, there is little information on whether this is a reboot, a relaunch, or simply an original story, although Darrell Gallagher, head of Crystal Dynamics, does tell gamers that they should “forget everything you knew about Tomb Raider.” The cover image shows a much younger Lara Croft appearing worn and brutalized, but determined.
