Given how few maps and activities there are in Star Wars Battlefront as-is, any announcement concerning DLC is welcome. Unfortunately, it looks like we have a few more weeks until we’ll get some of it. Star Wars Battlefront’ s Outer Rim add-on won’t be released until April 5. GameStop has pre-orders for it up, for people who want to pay $14.99 for it separately and not get the $49.99 Season Pass bundle.
However, that doesn’t mean everyone has to wait. People who did pay that extra money for the season pass upfront will get Star Wars Battlefront’ s Outer Rim two weeks early. That means they’ll be using Greedo and Nien Nunb, going through Extraction Mode, and playing in Jabba’s Palace, the Palace Garage, SoroSuub Refinery, and SoroSuub Pipelines next week.
