The Witcher Inspired a Tabletop RPG

The Witcher Inspired a Tabletop RPG

The Witcher is a video game RPG series, but it’s about to become an unplugged one as well. CD Projekt Red and R.Talsorian Games are working on The Witcher Role-Playing Game . It’s going to be an official pen-and-paper RPG for people wgo enjoy tabletop games and haven’t spent enough time with characters like Geralt.

The Witcher Role-Playing Game is going to be released in the middle of 2016. It will use Cyberpunk 2020 ‘s Fuzion ruleset and be steeped in the lore you’re familiar with from The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt . No word yet on whether Gwent will be making an appearance.

This will be the second tabletop adaptation of The Witcher . The first was Wiedźmin: Gra Wyobraźni in 2001, also known as The Witcher: A Game of Imagination . It was more true to Andrezej Sapkowski’s novels and wasn’t translated or released outside of Poland.
