Activision announced today, via the launch of an official website, Tony Hawk Ride. The once great skating franchise is looking to completely redefine itself this year. The game, being developed by RoboModo and Buzz Monkey, will treat players to a tricked out board peripheral for controlling the title. Not much is known about the board other than it is motion and infrared sensitive, and it has a ton of buttons on one side of it. Tony Hawk Ride is scheduled for a holiday 2009 release for Xbox 360, PS3, and Wii. According to the website, we will get to try out the game at E3 2009. As such, look for a lot more information in the coming weeks.
