Harmonix and MTV showed off two new, standalone, Beatles-themed guitar controllers. The controllers will go on sale on September 9, 2009; concomitantly with the game’s launch and simultaneously across all platforms. The guitars in question include mock ups of a Rickenbacker 325 and a Gretsch Duo Jet – used extensively by John Lennon and George Harrison, respectively. The guitars are on the pricey side, retailing for $99 each here in the States. Think that’s bad? Europeans will have to €99 for one of them and Islanders will shell out £89 quid! It’s a good thing they’re so pretty!
