Ubisoft’s Removing Some of Watch Dogs 2’s Mature Content

Something… unexpected has been found in Watch Dogs 2 . A player happened to discover a woman who was going commando. How? Well, via in-game explosives, of course. While nudity isn’t exactly unexpected in Mature-rated games, this instance was different due to the details. It was an incredibly intricate rendering of a woman’s nether regions. So detailed that Ubisoft has now said it will be updating the texture to make it more in line with other instances of nudity found in the game.

Here’s the exact statement Ubisoft gave to Venture Beat regarding the character. “We’re aware that one of the NPC models in Watch Dogs 2 is rendered in a way that is particularly explicit. While Watch Dogs 2 is a mature-rated game, we apologize and will update this NPC model to make it more consistent with other NPC models in the game in a patch to be released this week. We also are working with our first-party partners to ensure that players can continue to play and share all content from the game within the bounds of the first parties’ respective codes of conduct.”

I guess if you want to see some extra detailed female genitalia, you better play as much Watch Dogs 2 as you can right now. It certainly sounds like Ubisoft is going to do its best to fix this. Which is probably good for anyone who might decide to share screenshots via PSN. Sony initially banned Swizzasaur , the person who found and shared the character model initially, for one week, then month, before removing the ban.
